Vanquish
The definition of Vanquish is to overcome in battle, defeat in a contest, or to gain mastery over something and to me, that fit perfectly with golf, how the business will operate, and what I hope golfers will be able to do with my products.
Vanquish also has a strong, conquering, connotation to it, which only adds to the story. That mindset, confidence, that you are going to vanquish something, is powerful. You are going to crush whatever it is you are doing and do it with authority. You won’t just win; you will vanquish your opponent.
I want my customers vanquish whatever demons they may have.
I want my products to help them accomplish their goals no matter how large or how small.
I want to give them confidence, eliminate self-doubt, and help them bring the golf course to its knees.
I want them to write their names in the history books.
My products will not put in the work for you but I will create the tools to empower you as you make the climb.
About the Owner
Hi Everyone! My name is Ben Nelson! I have been a Certified PGA Professional since 2015.
While I was growing up, golf was always a part of my life. My dad got me started early, cutting some clubs down for me when I was 2 or 3. What he didn’t know, however, is that I would use those clubs to smash about 20 of our kitchen tiles! I have been playing ever since.
Over my career, I have also been fortunate enough to have seen many parts of the golf industry. I have been a teaching professional, a club-fitter, a merchandising manager, a product tester, and an R&D coordinator. While all of those experiences taught me things about the golf swing, manufacturing, and equipment, the one thing I really took away from those experiences was a drive to build something myself.
